Sacrament of Confirmation

The following requirements are for students who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation through All Saint Catholic Church Faith Formation Program. The Sacrament Preparation program for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation are through the Religious Education Program at All Saints. To receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, the student must meet the follow requirements besides the ones set forth by the Milwaukee Archdiocese:

The following requirements must be met to qualify:

star  Attend mass regularly.

star  Attend all Youth Ministry Religious Education Classes.

star  Complete 30 hours of Community Service.

star  Choose a confirmation sponsor according to Archdiocesan requirements.

star  Write a letter to your sponsor stating why you would like for them to support you in your efforts

      to receive confirmation.

star  Choose a Patron Saint  (Black/African Saints website--ww.catholic.org/black.php).

star  Attend required Confirmation Classes in addition to regular Religious Education classes.

star   Write a letter to the Archbishop  -- why you want to be confirmed.

star   Attend the Confirmation Retreat.

If you allow it, preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation can be an absolute wonderful experience. It will give you an opportunity to learn how the Holy Spirit will affect the rest of your life.
