All Saints Feast Day 2018

Annual Parish Picnic 2018

ExFabula 2018

On Sunday, May 6, approximately 80 people attended the dialogue on Building Bridges in our Divided Community in the church hall. This was a collaboration with Ex Fabula, the local group committed to sharing stories as a way to connect people. We had a broad cross section of members from All Saints and the community participate in engaged conversation on race and institutionalized racism. Three individuals shared their stories about how they were impacted by racism. Participants gathered in small group circles of six and shared stories with one another under the guidance of a facilitator. The groups were very engaged and highlighted some action items to consider for our community. Some suggestions included being intentional about creating these types of spaces for difficult conversation and to raise up the positive in our community to outweigh the constant negative voices and images portrayed. These are just a few of the ideas for us as a parish to consider and move forward.
